I got my hair cut into layers about a month ago to add volume. I always get a little anxiety when I get a haircut. You never know if the stylist is going to get too excited and turn up on your head. Sometimes as I’m getting my hair cut and I hear the scissors snipping away; images of Edward Scissors Hands going ham on Evergreen shrubs pop into my head. Then I remind myself that his final creations were always dope. I love that movie by the way. Classic. Anyway, I guess I’m always afraid the haircut will suck and I’ll be stuck with shorter hair that serves no purpose other than being jacked up. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case this time. I really liked what Melody of Natural U Salon did to my hair. It’s more voluminous now with added movement. A lot of people have been saying I remind them of Donna Summers which is definitely a compliment in my book.

I decided to show you guys how I style my hair now that it’s been cut. I used the Just Natural leave-in conditioner and coconut oil to set my pin curls. It’s light and not sticky at all. It really moisturizes my hair well making it easier to hold curls. I also use the Just Natural Shampoo and Conditioner on a regular basis. Just Naturals have been a favorite of mine for a a while now. If you’re interested in trying out their products, head on over to http://www.justnaturalskincare.com.  Hope you chickadees enjoy the vid:)
