MY VIEW FOR THE PAST 4 DAYS…

DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HAVE HAD THE FLU I WAS UNABLE TO ENJOY ANY FESTIVITIES YESTERDAY. AFTER TALKING TO MY MOM, I WAS CONVINCED  TO STAY IN SO I WOULDN’T HAVE A SET BACK AND I DIDN’T WANT TO RISK INFECTING ANYONE ELSE. MY BABY SIS CAME TO TOWN AT THE LAST MINUTE WITH ONE OF HER COLLEGE BUDDIES TO ATTEND A PARTY BUT AFTER A SERIES OF EVENTS THEY ENDED UP NOT GOING TO THE CHIN DIG… I WAS GLAD I DIDN’T RING IN THE NEW YEAR ALONE LOL.

MOST PEOPLE MAKE RESOLUTIONS FOR THE NEW YEAR AND I THINK THAT’S A GOOD THING. DO THEY ALL KEEP THEM? NAH! BUT MOST PEEPS DON’T KEEP PROMISES OR VOWS, SO WHY KNOCK SOMEONE DOWN IF THEY’RE AT LEAST MAKING AN EFFORT TO DO BETTER, RIGHT?  I BELIEVE THE BEST THING ABOUT THE NEW YEAR IS LETTING GO OF THE PAST YEAR. YOUR PAST FAILURES, DISAPPOINTMENTS, AND TRANSGRESSIONS. REFOCUS YOUR ATTENTION ON BEING A BETTER YOU AND FULFILLING YOUR PURPOSE. DON’T FOCUS ON YOUR SHORT COMINGS. I LOVE BROOKS ATKINSON’S QUOTE, ” DROP THE LAST YEAR INTO THE SILENT LIMBO OF THE PAST. LET IT GO, FOR IT WAS IMPERFECT, AND THANK GOD THAT IT CAN GO”. WELCOME THIS NEW YEAR WITH AN OPEN HEART AND AN OPEN MIND TO DO MORE. SERVE MORE. LOVE MORE. GROW MORE. ALWAYS SEEK THE LIGHT.

HAPPPY NEW YEAR!
